Mary Evelyn Love Simmons at the age of 66 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 03, 2011 at her home in Ingram Texas with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on April 01, 1945 in Pasadena, Texas to Wilburn Dean and Estelle "Collier" Dean. Evelyn married Frank Simmons in 1990 in Junction, Texas and they have been together for 21 years. She was the Pastor of The House of Prayer in Ingram Texas for over 36 years. Evelyn and her first husband Bill Love started the church and they were the minsters there until his death in 1989, when she took over the church after his death and continued the work. Evelyn love life, the word of God and her family very much, she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her dad Wilburn Dean, sister Judy Dean and first husband Bill Love. Evelyn is survived by her husband Frank Simmons of Ingram, Texas; 3 daughters Melinda Love and husband Earl of Ingram, Texas, Brenda Fegenbush and husband Joseph of Kerrville, Texas and Rebecca Bird and husband David of Mountain Home, Texas; son Allen Love and wife Donna of Center Point, Texas; mother Estella Dean of Ingram, Texas; 3 brothers Gary Dean and wife Betty, Tony Dean and wife Jeanette and Randy Dean and wife Carolyn all of Ingram, Texas; 5 sisters Linda Rowan of Ingram, Texas, Janie Seeton and husband George of Joshua, Texas, Ruthie Crider and husband Skip of Hutto, Texas, Nelda Mitchell and husband Mark of Ingram, Texas and Patsy Rose of Ingram, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am, Wednesday, Nov. 09, 2011 at The House of Prayer in Ingram, Texas with Pastor Fegenbush officiating the services. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Kerrville. Lunch will follow at Faith Christian Church (1205 Sidney Baker) in Kerrville.
