Dollie L. Strickland at the age of 82 passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at a local care center in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Kerrville, Texas to Randolph and Marie Peschel. Dollie married Lehman Strickland on December 28, 1982 in Seguin, Texas. She worked as a Secretary for TRS in San Antonio region 20 for 35 years. Dollie enjoyed knitting, jewelry making, dancing and she was a member of the German Club for 18 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Vince Muller and 6 brothers.
Dollie is survived by her loving husband Lehman Strickland of Kerrville, Texas; brother Bobo Peschel of Kerrville, Texas; sister Annie Mosty of Ingram; 5 step children Julie, BJ, Larry, William and Sandy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. The family would like to thank everyone at Hilltop Village Care Center and Odyssey Hospice.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013, 1pm until 8pm at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville. Family will greet guest from 6 ~ 8, at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10am, Friday, March 15, 2013 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville. Interment will follow at Brown Cemetery in Kerrville. Pallbearers will be Joel Craig, Scott Peschel, Greg Peschel, Doug Horne, JD Peschel and Danny Peschel.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Odyssey Hospice or a charity of your chose.
