Charles ( Chuck) Wooler at the age of 83 passed away quietly on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at a Kerrville health care center. He was born to Anna Kane and Harry Wooler on March 5, 1930 in Philadelphia Pa.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Uncle and Aunt, Arthur and Eleanor Wooler, his first wife, Elaine Hodges Wooler and his current wife of 34 years Rudean ( Dee) Palmer Wooler.

Chuck is survived by his two daughters, Melesia (Missy) and husband Bucky Bishop of Pasadena, Texas. Elece and husband Duane Morgan of Ft. Worth, Texas. Brother, Jack and wife Nadine Connahey of St. Augustine Fla. His extended family, all of whom loved him dearly will miss him deeply. Grandchildren Derrick and wife Katy Bishop, Chase and wife Ivette Bishop, Leslie and husband Mike Turner, Jamie and wife Sara Farris, Ashley Smith, Kayli Farris and 14 great grandchildren.

Chuck enlisted into the United States Air Force on October 19, 1950 and was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas where his oldest daughter Missy was born. Chuck retired from Hughes Tool Company and then owned and operated an alternator repair shop. Upon moving to Kerrville 14 years ago Chuck and Dee loved to volunteer and support the Commemorative Air Force, Chapter of Texas Hill Wing. They loved watching the vintage air craft and visiting with great friends. Chuck also volunteered most of his time to the War Museum at Audie Murphy Hospital in Kerrville. Chucks photo was recently chosen as one of the Faces of Freedom that was on exhibit at the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center along with his fellow veterans. Our hearts were broken to lose you but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you the day God took you home.

In life we loved you dearly in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.

Memorial Services Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at 10:00am at Flatrock Park, Riverside Dr. Kerrville Texas.
