Ida Belle Taylor, 79, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Shepard, Texas to Edward and Velma Mae Moyers-Buckalew. Ida Belle married Jack Taylor on
August 31, 1968 in Kingsville, Texas. Prior to retirement, together with
Jack, they owned and operated several businesses in Beeville, Texas.
After retirement, she and Jack moved to Kerrville, Texas. Her family
and grandchildren were her greatest joy; she also enjoyed traveling,
visiting Las Vegas, and building jigsaw puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, William F. Terrell
Jr. in 1988.
Ida Belle is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jack
Taylor, of Georgetown, Texas; a son, James E. Terrell and wife Karen
of Angelton, Texas; daughter Cynthia Taylor of Leander, Texas;
daughter Terri Sitter and husband Tim of Sugarland, Texas; son
Wesley Taylor of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, two
great grandchildren; brother Arnold Buckalew and wife Billie of
Kingsville, Texas, and many other friends and family who loved her
and will miss her (and her homemade strawberry cake) dearly.
Memorial services will be held graveside in Beeville, Texas at a later
