Dennis Lloyd Perry, a resident of Salt Rock, West Virginia, passed away at the age of 94 on June 11, 2026. Born in Salt Rock, West Virginia on May 5, 1932, to Okey and Rena Morrison Perry, both of whom preceded him in death. Dennis was also preceded in death by his siblings, Evelyn Wall, Bill Perry, Earl Perry, Eloise Beckett, Howard Perry, Deloris Charles, Betty Bledsoe, Marlene Vititoe, Keith Perry, Sharon Lewis, Bobby Perry and Everett Perry.
He leaves behind his son, Dennis Perry Jr., daughter-in-law, Michelle of Rootstown, Ohio and granddaughter, Rachel of Revanna, Ohio. He is also survived by his sisters, Elsie Bias (and the late Keith Bias) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Patricia Ghearing (Bill) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and one brother, Marvin Perry (Arlene) of Barboursville, West Virginia.
Dennis’ passion and enjoyment in life was being a beekeeper and enjoying the processing of his honey, a lover of birds and birdhouses but the greatest love was for his cats. Dennis never left a cat behind.
Family’s gratitude to Melissa Brickles for all the care and love she showed Dennis while he was in her care, also a very special friend, Debra Geise, who was very faithful to visit and to have great conversations with Dennis.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the home of Dustin Dailey, 5220 East Mud River Rd., Milton, WV, with Dustin Dailey officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery also known as Balls Gap Cemetery in Milton, West Virginia. Wallace Funeral Home in Milton, West Virginia, is assisting the family with arrangements.
