Max passed away Wednesday, June 10 at his home. He was born January 12, 1939 the son of Ernest and Elda (Setter) Hiscock. Max was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked in a variety of professions including Checker Motors and Gibson Guitar. He had a passion for cars and loved stock car racing. On November 3, 2007, Max was united in marriage to Carolyn Nielson who survives. Also surviving is a son, James D. (Jean) Hiscock of Oshtemo; a sister, Carol (Ray) Patterson of Galesburg; 5 step-children; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Southern Care Hospice.
