Gerturde E. Collins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1918 - 2009 Age: 91 COLLINS, Gertrude E. Lawton Formerly of Grand Junction Gertrude passed away Sunday, June 21, 21009 at Bronson Lakeview Nursing and Rehab. Center in Lawton. She was born June 21, 1918 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Peter and Marie (Duhai) Zachman. Gertrude worked as an executive secretary for Marshall Fields in Chicago for 35 years retiring to Michigan in 1983. She loved crocheting, knitting, quilting and traveling. On September 18, 1977 in Calumet City, IL Gertrude was united in marriage to E. James Collins who survives. Also surviving are a son, Brian (Joan) Hemeli of Carol Stream, IL; daughter, Nancy (Bill) Keegan of Destin, FL; five grandchildren, Tabitha, Teresa, Bill, Kevin and Kristin; ten great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Mark Whittaker officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bloomingdale.
