Dear Mrs. Barich,
I was saddened to read about the passing of your dear husband, Frank!
Many, many years ago I worked as a checker at the Shopping Center when it first opened. My name then was Lillian Coleman and being a new employee I was feeling very lost at first and Frank always made me feel good because he always had time to stop and say good morning and find out how my day was going! A special friend!
Please accept my sympathy. I lost my husband 20 yrs ago.
Best wishes,
Lil Modugno (California)

Lois, Pam and MaryAnn:
Frank was the most personable and friendly man I have ever known. Every time I met him in the store he always had a big smile and was so jolly.
I know my father always thought of Frank as much more than a client but as one of his very best friends. I told this to Frank when I visited him last week and that brought on a big smile.

Lois, Pam & Maryann - our family's thoughts & prayers are with you at this time with the passing of the very special person that Frank was. Though time & distance has come between of what is today, I personally have very fond memories of your husband/father .... he was a person of a strong will & professional work ethic, and you knew where you stood with him! It was truly because of him that I became interested in the Food business and now 27 years later I'm still part of it! God Bless & Our thoughts and Prayers are with you each. Sincerely - Jeff & Maureen Denzel and Family.

Mrs. Barich,
My deepest Sympathy in hearing of Frank's passing. My prayers our with your family.
Frank, was the first boss I had at the Paw Paw Shopping Center (1965-1967). Frank's work ethic was beyond reproach. He taught me how to do it right and fair. After collage I move to Chicago. I've tried to apply his work ethic in my own working career.
When I would return to Paw Paw to visit my parents. No trip would be complete without a stop by the Shopping Center. To see Frank and Mr. Imus, We'd talk about the old days and how things had changed. The last time I saw Frank and Mr. Imus was 1999, at the time of my father passing. When I heard the Shopping Center was Closing. I called the store and talked with Mr. Imus and learned that Frank has retired. Then I called Frank, we had a great chat. That was the last time we talked.
Thank you Frank, you were a great mentor.
May God Bless

Franky was a special person in my life. He became my first mentor, helping me get a job working for him at the Shopping Center. He was wise, smart, proud and a main person in the Shopping center family. As a hard worker, he set an example for many of us. No one
could ever outwork Franky.
We also ran around together along with Joe Minarovic while all of us
were still single.
He was best man at my wedding and we enjoyed many special times with him, Lois and the girls.
He and Lois were god-parents to our oldest daughter Noelle.
I owe a great deal of gratitude to
Franky for giving me a good start in life and for all the good things he did for me and my parents over the years.
His memory will live on.
