Dear Lynn, Dennis and family, Herm, and all the Hollenbecks, The list of Mattawan Lady Comrades that are getting to heaven is sadly getting pretty long. Lynn, your Mom was always there when we needed her. I remember the day that my Dad died and she was one of the first to get the house and start cleaning. And putting on the tea kettle for the "instant coffee". I never could get my Mom to drink a Starbucks because it was too strong. So its a wonder everyone could sleep after 3 or 4 cups at our house. I also remember the time when we were driving by your house and we always looked to see whose car was in the driveway, and we saw smoke coming out near the door by the garage and Karen's room. We stopped at the first house on the corner and called your Dad, the fire chief, and I told him that the house was on fire and asked where you guys were. He said that you, Karen and your Mom were on the boat. So we rushed back any way to the house to check on the dog. David tried the door but it was too hot. So needless to say you guys were safe, your Dad saved the house, but you lost your dog. I will quit going on and on now, but I just want you to know that we all loved your Mom. And thank-you for being there for my my Mom's funeral, it meant alot. I am sorry that I live so far away, because I'd love to hand out the hugs. Love, Diane and family

Ginny was a wonderful friend to our family and, especially, to my mom, Margene Kwiat. I'm sure Donna, Ginny, Margene, and the rest of the gang are still playing Bunco in heaven. We'll always have fond memories of her. My sympathies to Karen and all the family and friends who loved her.

Lynn & Family - I'm so sorry I just heard and I'm so sad! Your Mom's voice along with Donna, Ester and the other girls were the sound track of my childhood. How many hours did your Mom sit at our table and drink instant coffee, smoke and laugh!!!! I loved your Mom so much - she always remembered to call me and remind me how much she missed my Mom. Just hearing her voice brought tears to my eyes. So many great memories for all of us! Lynn - I know you feel alone but please remember that there are people like me that have and always will carry a piece of your Mom in their hearts forever!! I love you and hope we can stay in touch some how. Kath

To the Visscher Family, May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,
