CZUHAJEWSKI, Adam S.

Lawton

Adam passed away Monday morning, August 3, 2009 at White Oaks in Lawton. Adam was born May 28, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Bryla) Czuhajewski. Adam was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army in the European Theater and earned 5 battle stars. He attended First Baptist Church, Paw Paw and loved woodworking and wood crafting. On January 21, 1949 in Kalamazoo, Adam was united in marriage to Lois Jeanette Brown who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Trudy (Gary) Schafer of Shelbyville, MI and Barbara (Whaden) Curtis of Brookfield, CT; son, Michael (Bella) Czuhajewski of Severn, MD; 5 grandchildren, Brittany and Megan Stamm of Shelbyville, Alex Curtis of Brookfield, CT and Charles and Christine Czuhajewski of Severn, MD; 2 brothers, Thomas and John (Mary) Czuhajewski all of Paw Paw; 2 sisters, Cecelia (Gene) Roberts and Theresa Kapka all of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Stanley, Frank, Joseph and Steve Czuhajewski; 3 sisters, Mary Czuhajewski, Genevieve Dzialowski and Lottie Warner. Services with military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
