Carol passed away suddenly Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born December 31, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Verna (McKay) Clark. Carol was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother spending most of her life as a homemaker. She was also a bus driver for the Van Buren ISD, was an active member of St. Marys Catholic Church, and sang in the Kalamazoo Diocese Choir that visited Rome and sang for Pope John Paul II.
On September 1, 1956 in Chicago, Carol was united in marriage to Walter Janczewski who survives. Also surviving are her 4 children, Duane Janczewski of Oshtemo, Marion (Doug) Monroe also of Oshtemo, Kim (Bob) Kovacevich of Plainwell, and Cindy (Bob) Overmyer of Canadian Lakes; 5 grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Clark of Phoenix, AZ.
Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Paw Paw. Cremation will follow the services with interment at St. Marys Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Knights of Columbus.

Carol was a warm and wonderful person and missing her does not say enough. Maybe saying that "nothing will be the same" does. She's smiling down at us....................
