Markie passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2009 at his home at the Blue Moon Adult Foster Care in Allegan. He was born September 27, 1965 in Paw Paw. Markie loved the outdoors, fishing, playing pranks, and had an outstanding personality and touched a lot of lives and hearts. Surviving are his mother Erneen Maddox of Montgomery, AL; brothers, Ernest (Shanna) Arter of Paw Paw, Eric (Tania) Saye of Buchanan, MI and Andrew Saye of Paw Paw; sister, Neena (Aaron) Porter of Schoolcraft; step-father, Ray W. Arter of Dallas, TX; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Candy Saye. Family will receive friends Friday 2 to 4 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ron Kenney officiating.. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Moon Adult Foster Care in Allegan.
