Lawton
Louise passed away Tuesday morning, September 22, 2009 at her home. She was born July 6, 1943 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Heighton. She was employed as manager at the Good Will Industries in Paw Paw for 15 years until her illness. Louise loved crafts, crocheting and sewing. On July 10, 1967 in Kalamazoo, Louise was united in marriage to Robert G. Shears who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Keith (Connie) and Kenneth (Sherry)Shears all of Mattawan and Brian (Candy) Shears of Battle Creek; 2 daughters, Kimberlee Shears of Lawton and Deborah (Fian e, Jodiah Moser) of New London, OH; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 sisters, Donna Blevins of Kalamazoo and Patricia VanDyken of Portage; brother, Herbert Heighton of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 1 to 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Paw Paw with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. |

I am so sorry to hear about Louise. I remember having so much fun with her when we were crocheting together at her house. We laughed a lot and I remember the time when I stuck the crochet needle in my finger and she and Bob had to take me to the emergency room to get it taken out, I didn't want them to break my needle.
I wish I had kept in contact with her.
I am so very sorry for the family, I know you are going to miss her a lot.
