Paw Paw
Arlene passed away Wednesday morning, April 21, 2010 at Bronson LakeView Hospital, Paw Paw. She was born December 9, 1927 in Brock, NE the daughter of the late Millard and Lova (Haneline) Combs. Arlene was an avid collector of owls and depression era glass. In 1963 in Paw Paw Arlene was united in marriage to Frank Marcelletti who preceded her in death in May of 1986. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Wes Evans. Surviving is a son, Carl Marcelletti of Paw Paw, brother, Rex (Anna) Combs of Huntington Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday (4/25) 3 to 5 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday 11 a.m. with Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.

Mick and I want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was a very special lady who had a great deal tolerance to put up with a bunch a misfits like us.

I had the privilege of caring for Arlene during her illness. She had such spunk and a great sense of humor. Her love for her son Carl, and his love for her was a very amazing gift God blessed them with. I will miss her, and am glad to have known her. Sincerely, Tonda Warner

Carl,
We were so sorry to hear about Aunt Arlene. I wish we had heard earlier so that we could have made plans to be at the funeral. I hope you are doing o.k. in dealing with your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
