Elizabeth passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at her home with family and friends by her side after a lengthy illness. She was born February 21, 1968 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Paul and Melanie (McEwen) Rose Sr. Elizabeth loved photography, interior decorating, crafts and most of all being with kids. Elizabeth was united in marriage with Daniel Burkett on February 27, 1994. She is survived by her husband and 6 children, Elyse, Blake, Marian, Carson (Sheila), Nathaniel, and Alayna LaPine; father, Paul Rose Sr. of Pennfield; 2 brothers, Paul (Pennie) Rose Jr, of Athens and John (Mary) Rose of Mattawan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melanie. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center, Kalamazoo. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Please check back daily for the memorial celebration date and time.
