SMITH, Bobby O.

Bobby passed away Saturday afternoon, May 15, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born August 13, 1949 in Kalamazoo the son of the late William and Charlotte (Blades-Powell) Smith. He served 2 tours of duty Vietnam with the U.S. Army. Bobby was an artist with creative abilities using different materials. On March 22, 1980 in Kalamazoo he was united in marriage to Victoria Sue Johnson who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cherrie (Steve) Osborne of Mattawan; 4 grandchildren, Kellsie, Connor, Mikayla and Kendyll; 3 brothers, Billy, Patrick and Darryl Smith; 2 sisters, Sharon and Denise Smith; many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert Powell and a sister, Sandy Delasantos. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010, at the Southridge Reformed Church, 6726 Texas, Kalamazoo. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. |

My heart goes out to all of Bob's family..... He was such a grumpy GREAT man. He love all of us kids just didn't want to show it because that is how he was. LOL
You will be missed by alot of people Dad....RIP and please watch over Mom and Cherrie :)
