Mrs. Agnes Christine Hill Lee, age 85, of 337 Akes Station Rd., Cedartown passed away Monday, January 5, 2004. Mrs. Lee was born in Haralson County on December 22, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Jim Hill and the late Mrs. Donnor Munroe Hill. Mrs. Lee was a retired seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. David Lee; one son, Mr. Ray Lee; one sister; and six brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Faye Whitmore of Buchanan; one son, Mr. Billy E. Lee of Cedartown; one brother, Mr. Floyd Hill of Cedartown; one grand daughter, Mrs. Sheila Stoelk of Gold Canyon, AZ; four grand sons, Mr. Ricky Lee, and Mr. Jimmy Dempsey both of Cedartown, Mr. Jackie Lee of Buchanan, and Mr. Ray Lee, Jr. of Bremen; three great grand daughters, Ms. Kathryn Dempsey of Cedartown, Ms. Stephanie Dempsey of Buchanan, and Ms. Jennifer Lee of Tallapoosa; one great grandson, Mr. Ray Lee III of Lakeland, CO; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Swift officiating. Music will be rendered by Ms. Jan Collier. Interment will follow in the Centre Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ricky Lee, Jimmy Dempsey, Jackie Dempsey, Ray Lee, Jr., Windell Lyle, and Lloy Hill.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
