Mrs. Ruby Gertrude Sadler Eskew, age 91, of 138 Dudley Rd., Buchanan passd away Tuesday, January 6, 2004. Mrs. Eskew was born in Taylor County, FL on September 17, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie M. Sadler and the late Mrs. Rosa Hill Sadler. Mrs. Eskew was a retired seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. C.L. Eskew.
Survivors include one son, Mr. Charles S. Callihan of Buchanan; one brother, Mr. Fred Sadler of Carrollton; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 8, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ernie Henson and Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Music will be rendered by Ms. Debra Bridges and Ms. Wanda Knight. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Hubert Dobbs, Larry Anderson, Richard Puckett, Brandon White, Jack Routon, and Tommy Tyra. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Wesson and Jay Hefner.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
