1938 - 2004
Ms. Peggy Jean Seay Smith, age 65, of 306 Church St., Bremen passed away Sunday, February 1, 2004. Ms. Smith was born in Marshall County, AL on May 16, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Marlin Seay and Mrs. Myrtle Hayes Choate. Ms. Smith was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Bowman of Bremen, and Ms. Lynda Tyson of Talledega, AL; one son, Mr. Ricky Smith of Verbena, AL; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Gail Bradley of Maryland, and Mrs. Pat Knudson of Tallahassee, FL; three brothers, Mr. John Choate of St. Simons Island, GA, Mr. Carl E. Choate of Columbia, SC, and Mr. Gerald Chaote of Brunswick; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris Cook officiating.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
