Ms. Sherron McClain Luker, age 54, of 237 Veranda Circle, Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004. Ms. Luker was born in Haralson County on June 15, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Claude McClain and the late Mrs. Bernice Finley McClain. Ms. Luker was a public school teacher.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Burdeshaw of Cartersville; one sister, Sandra Mosley of Tallapoosa; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. from Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Larrice Patterson, Rev. Keith Dempsey, and Mr. Tom Miller officiating. Music will be rendered by Donna Collier, Dana Rampy, Rick Stafford, and Dean Wright. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Alford Rutherford, Henry Jaillet, Dale Campbell, Tom Miller, Marcus Collier, and David Green. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ralph Bentley, Jerry Bonham, Jimmy Robinson, and Grover Carden.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
