Mrs. Wyolene Emory White, age 86, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005. Mrs. White was born in Cherokee County, Georgia on March 29, 1919. She was the daughter of the late David Thomas Emory and the late Miranda Loggins Emory. Mrs. White was a retired insurance clerk. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Willard White, and a number of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of sixty three years, C.W. “Charlie” White of Buchanan; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jim Reynolds of Buchanan; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wendell Rush and Rev. Horace Wilson officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chris Waddell, Floyd Morris, Dustin Outlaw, Brett Girstmyer, Buddy Emory, and Wayne Wood.
