Mr. Robert Glenn “Bob” Carey age 74 of Bowdon, Georgia died Saturday; July 9, 2005 in Emory University Hospital., Atlanta, Georgia
He was born in Ashtabula County Ohio May 12, 1931 the son of the late Howard Lenol and Vera Esther Sawmiller Carey. Mr. Carey was a Poultry Farmer and retired from Honeywell.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Eugene Howard Carey.
Survivors include two sons Robert Gregory Carey of Rumnig Springs, CA. and John Alan Carey of Palm Desert, CA. one daughter Rene Corrigan of Somerset, MA. One brother and sister-in-law Richard Dale (Penny) Carey of Long Beach, CA. 0ne sister and brother-in-law Caroline (James H.) Smith of Lima, OH.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday; July 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. (Georgia Time) from Macedonia Baptist Church (Cleburne County Alabama) with Rev. Darnell Teal officiating. Pallbearers will be Rodney Kendrick, Joey Adams, Gary Thomas, Stanley Pullen and Jeremy Phillips. Terry Bartlett will be an honorary pallbearer. Interment services will follow in Allentown Cemetery in Elida, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday; July 12 from 5-8 P.M.
