Mrs. Dora Holcombe age 95 of 119 Hepsie Willis Boulevard. Villa Rica, Georgia formerly of Bowdon, Georgia died Thursday January 12, 2006 in Newnan Nursing and Rehab.
She was born in Gilmer County Georgia October 10, 1910 the daughter of the late William and Martha Forrest Reese. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Holcombe.
Survivors include two sons Bobby Holcombe, Villa Rica, GA. and Pete Holcombe, Bowdon, GA. daughter Geraldine Beck, Carrollton, GA. 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren a sister Dorothy Rowland, Bowdon, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday January 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Puckett officiating. Music will be furnished by the church choir. Pallbearers will be Tony Holcombe, Tim Holcombe, Vick Holcombe, Steve Rowland. Gene Bearden and Reese Barrett. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7-9 P.M.
