VELMA FRANCES HEARN
Mrs. Velma Frances Hearn age 93, formally of Carroll County died August 8, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Bowie, Maryland.
Mrs. Hearn was born March 28, 1912 in Ranburne, Alabama to the late Charlie Kaylor and Georgia Lowery Kaylor. She was a member of Victory United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverand Joseph Howell Hearn, sister Georgia Mae Brown, brother the Reverand Albert Kaylor and a grandson Jonathan Schuppe.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws John and Helen Hearn of Carrollton, GA. Joseph and Susan Hearn of Lawrenceville, GA. daughters and sons-in-laws Margaret and Jack Dixon of Chattanooga, TN. Martha and Jim Schuppe of Bowie, MD. And Dale Davis of Mt. Dora, FL. sister Myrtice Crosson of Lanette, AL. brothers and sisters-in-laws Talmadge and Sue Kaylor, Dan and Shirley Kaylor of Alabama and J.C. Kaylor of Medford, OR. 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Victory United Methodist Church with the Reverand Tommy Greer and the Reverand Jim Schuppe officiating. Music will be furnished by Joey Griffin and Neysa Koewn. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in the Burwell Community. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday August 12th from 5:00 -8:00 P.M.
