JEANETTE L. JONES
Mrs. Jeanette L. Jones, age 60 of 527 Sandy Flat Road, Bowdon, Georgia died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL.
She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on July 31, 1945 the daughter of Frances Thornton Frost and the late Thomas Frost. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and was a Rural Letter Carrier for the Carrollton Post Office.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Jones of Bowdon, GA.; daughters and sons-in-Law, Phyllis and Scott Cummings of Bowdon, GA, Diane and Larry Hornsby of Tallapoosa, GA, and Karen Dick of Bowdon, GA.; her mother, Frances Thornton Frost of Bowdon, GA.; grandsons, Matt Cummings and Brandon Dick; granddaughters Kristi Cummings, Deanna Wiggins and Ashley Dick; great-granddaughter, Kadance Wiggins. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters-in-Law, Kenneth and Carolyn Frost and Wallace and Mildred Frost all of Bowdon, GA., Joel and Sandra Frost of Carrollton, GA., and Rev. Tommy and Beverly Frost of West Monroe, LA.; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Phil Amason of Heflin, AL.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. from the Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Frost and Rev. Darnell Teal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Prior to the service, Mrs. Jones will lie in state at the church from 10:30 until 11:00 am.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm.
