Mrs. Geraldine Wells House Shealy, age 83, of Tinsley Ave., Buchanan passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006. Mrs. Shealy was born in Haralson County on July 29, 1929. She was the daughter of the late James Ezra Wells and the late Bertha Siniard Wells. Mrs. Shealy was retired as dietician at Countryside Health Center (formerly Kimballcare) and the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy House; second husband, Ralph Shealy; one son, Tommy House; and one brother, James Arnold Wells.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Joe Goss of Cedartown; six grandchildren, Ricky Sanders, Traci Gilmore, Kristi Ivie, Shannon House, Terri Tuck and Kim Payne; nine great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will conducted Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gentry, Jimmy Pope and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Pope, Bobby Carroll, Scott Brooks, John Gaines, Charles Weatherby and Wayne Wood.
Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
