Todd Jason Napora, 36, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. He was born July 13, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA., son of Bogart (Kim) Napora, Pt. Pleasant, WV., and Carol (Wilson) Bowers, Gallipolis, OH.
He was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School, Class of 1991 and he received a B.S. Degree, Ohio University, Athens, 1996.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by the mother of his children, Carrie Evans Napora, Gallipolis, and son, Wil August Napora, and daughter, Addison Gray Napora.
Also surviving are a sister, Amy Napora and niece Emily Hauldren, both of Worthington, OH., Half Sister, Olivia Napora, Pt. Pleasant, WVA., and his Paternal Grandmother, Mary Napora, Branford, CONN, Great Aunt, Betty Meehan, Covina, Ca., Step Brother, Glenn Bowers, Grand Rapids, Mich., Step Sisters, Robin Hicks, Boston, Mass., Lee ORourke, Orlando, Fla..
The family will receive friends Tuesday June, 30, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis. A celebration of Todds life will follow at The Holiday Inn, 577 St. Rt. 7 North, Gallipolis. .Todd was a loving father, son and a loyal friend.

To the Napora/Bowers family: I knew Todd when we went to school together at Ohio University-Zanesville (freshman year). I was shocked to see his name in the Ohio Alumni magazine and am sorry for the loss and pain your family may be going through. I recently lost someone I loved deeply and at times like this, words seem to offer little comfort. Would someone be willing to share with me what happened? This was a total shock. Dear Carrie and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry for the babies he left behind. Todd got our old clunker running when we thought we needed to call a tow-truck. He was good with cars. He generously gave me a bunch of paint from when he worked at Sherwin-Williams. He was kind. He was generous. He had a good heart. I hope you can find strength for your babies, I am so very sorry.
