Dear Ann: Adelaide and I were saddened to receive notification from St. Vincent College that John had passed away. The last time I saw him was at our 50th class reunion in 2003. We had a great time recalling our college days and revisiting the campus which had grown substantially in the intervening years. We want to express to you and your family our deepest sympathy and the hope that the kind wishes of your many friends will make your grief just a little easier to bear. Henry Smith C'53

Dear Ann, John Jr., and Family, I was out of town when I heard that John Sr. passed away and immediately grieved with you in your loss. John was a super neighbor for 20-some years to me and my family. I often enjoyed little talks with John as he walked pass my house on the way to church. He was always so kind and always asked about my boys. I could tell he was a good family man. I will keep you in prayer. Remember, I am only 2 doors up the street, so holler if you need anything. Sincerely, Fred Williams
