Paw Paw
Walter passed away Sunday morning, October 17, 2010 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. He was born June 20, 1930 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Walter and Helen (Zalinski) Krajewski. He was a dairy farmer most of his life and was employed at Ellingsworth (Duo-Tang) Mfg. Co, Paw Paw, Glendale Equipment and Sportsman Corner in Paw Paw until his retirement. Walter enjoyed reading westerns, deer hunting and tractors, especially John Deere. On July 7, 1956 in Gobles, Walter was united in marriage to Marlene L. Day who survives. Also surviving are 2 nieces (Krajewski family), Debbie Bentley and Linda Krajewski; brother-in-law, Marvin (Dolores) Day of Niles, sister-in-law, Jean Brownell of Niles; (Day family), 4 nephews; 2 nieces; 5 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Norbert and Annabelle Krajewski; and a nephew, Danny Krajewski.
Family will receive friends Monday (10/25) 1 to 2 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carol Newman officiating. Interment will be in Austin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.

Aunt Marlene, I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Walt's passing. You had a long and wonderful life together. May your memories bring you comfort in the days to come.

Dearest Marlene. So very sorry to hear about Walter passing. He was so much fun. We enjoyed visiting with him at the class breakfasts. I know how you will miss him. God's love to you and take good care. Love Becky and Skip Altenburg
