Have come across this page, as while performing a home renovation found papers from Jane Brown, that appear to be from the 1930s. These include a couple pictures of Jane and Willow when they were children. If any of the surviving members of the family wish to have/ see these items I am scanning them in and can send them to you. I am sorry for your loss.

So sorry this is so late in sending. Just had the paper passed on to us. I know your Mother will be missed but you have the assurance she is dancing in heaven with our Lord and we will see her again. Saying a prayer for you and your family.

Dear Diane and Family, I have so many fond memories of teaching with your mother in Paw Paw. My favorite one is, unknown to myself, I was using an antique spoon holder for a pencil holder. She was aghast. I immediately took it home and use it as a spoon holder still. I often think of her when getting a spoon. I'm sure she will be missed by many people.

My deepest sympathy to the Freestone family. Jane was the my mentor and helped me to survive my first year of teaching at Dimondale. After 34 years, I still recall tidbits of wisdom she imparted. Not only did she take me under her wing professionally but she took interest personally. She adored her family and I remember how thrilled she was the day Craig was born. May God comfort you all in this time of loss.

Jane was a lovely person, and it was a pleasure to see the joy and love in her eyes when she was in Sarasota with Diane and her friends.

Jane was my dearest friend who loved me unconditionally and helped me find my way in life. She lived her faith, was humble, not wanting to be in the limelight. May she continue her journey wrapped in God's light.
