Dear Baily family and friends. I was saddened to read of Jim's passing. Jim and I were friends from the early fifties . We lived only a few blocks from each other. I have so many fond memories of the times we spent together. Jim was the big brother that I never had. My passion for motorcycles started when Jim let me a ride his 125 cc Harley Davidson. I was 12 years old ! After I got out of the service Jim and I both had dirt bikes and we would go in search of trails and hills to be mastered. I have a picture of Jim and I taken December 26, 1955. We are sitting on Jim's 3 speed Schwinn with a basket ball. I suspect we are heading out to shoot a few hoops in Reids back yard. John 14: 1,2. Let not your heart not be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so I would have told you, for I go to prepare a place for you. I hope I am Jim's neighbor when I see him again. Praying for the family Max Bauer Grand Rapids

I have a lot of great memories with Jim, most of them on dirt bikes and bicycles. Jim could really ride a dirt bike; he was one of the smoothest riders I have ever known. Even though I have lost touch with Jim over the years I have thought of him often. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Godspeed Jim.

Jim, was my Brother-in-law but more like a Brother to me. He was my Pitman when we raced Go Karts & the memories still put a smile/tear on my face. God be with him, he was a good man. Bill Keselowski
