Jinny passed away Thursday evening, March 3, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born February 25, 1932 in Moulton, AL the daughter of Frank and Dolly (Heflin) Haynes. She was employed at the Parchment Paper Mill and Midwest Aluminum until her retirement. She enjoyed crafts, games, cooking bowling and reading. On December 10, 1961 in Kalamazoo, Jinny was united in marriage to Charles H. Hawley Sr. who preceded her in death on December 2, 2003. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, David, Ursery and Buford Haynes and a sister, Esther Cook. Surviving are a son, Phillip (Vickie) Haynes of Kalamazoo, step-children, Sherry (Steve) Hamming of Kalamazoo, Ruth Goff of Mattawan and Charles (Linda) Hawley Jr. of Gobles; 7 grandchildren including Lori Aaron and Zachary Haynes; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Issac Haynes of Plainwell, Frank Haynes of Paw Paw and Roger McCormack of AL; sister, Betty Spangler of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
