David Victor Allison, 91, of De Graff, died at 5:55 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Kobacker House in Columbus.
He was born August 8, 1921, in Cleveland, OH, and was raised by Earl and Ertha Allison of De Graff.
On September 7, 1944, he married Dorothy F. Cummins in De Graff and she survives. He is also survived by a Son; Michael R. (Marie) Allison of Blue Lake, two Daughters; Joyce A. (James) Kauffman of Urbana and Aleta J. (Neil) Cotter of Georgetown, four Grand Children and three Great Grand Children.
A graduate of De Graff High School, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and again during the Korean Conflict, was a member of First United Bellefontaine Presbyterian Church, Bellefontaine, Past Master of Boggs Lodge # 292 F.& A.M., De Graff, a Life Member of Miami Valley Post # 652, American Legion, served as Mayor of De Graff 1983 - 1987 and was a retired Street Superintendant of De Graff.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 8, 2013 in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff with Pastor Rob Fulton officiating.
The Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Donor's favorite Charity.
