Gay Denise Mitchell, 57, of De Graff, died at 7:10 PM Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Mary Rutan Hospital, in Bellefontaine.
She was born June 25, 1956, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of the late Richard Wayne Wren and Gladys Winifred Gregory Wren of Bellefontaine.
On February 14, 1981, she married Larry David Mitchell in Russells Point and he died May 27, 2010.
Survivors include three Brothers; Richard and Christopher Wren both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Homer Wren of Columbus, two Sisters; Barbara A. Hanger of De Graff and Susan (Bill) Danyluk of Swan River, Manitoba, Canada, five Nieces; Missy and Shawn Mitchell and Christina, Sarah and Teresa Danyluk, and two Nephews; Jason (Brittany) Hanger and Ryan Mitchell.
She was a 1974 graduate of Indian Lake High School and a retired employee of Siemens in Bellefontaine. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and helping her husband on the farm.
Friends may call Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kymberly James officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, De Graff.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
