Mr. Pennington was born February 28, 1924 in Naples, Kentucky a son of the late Smith Sr. and Bertha Fultz Pennington.
Mr. Pennington was a United States Army Veteran
He was a member of Brush Creek Freewill Baptist Church
Was a former bus driver with the Greenup County School System for several years in the 60s and was a retired residential construction worker
He was a farmer and loved to fox hunt
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by
2 sisters and 5 brothers
He is survived by
2 daughters
Connie (John) Kepko of Navarre, Florida
Ramona (Steve) Dotsey of Lexington, Kentucky
8 grandchildren
7 great-grandchildren
There will be a private graveside service at Kirby Flatts in Ashland, Kentucky
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 4:00 6:00 pm at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, KY
