Bill Brown, 85, of Lynn, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.

Bill was born June 8, 1930 in Oldtown, Kentucky a son of the late Kelly and Pocahontas Allen Brown.

Bill was a retired operator from Marathon Refinery in Catlettsburg, Kentucky and was a United States Korean Conflict Army Veteran. He loved to hunt, especially fox hunt. He enjoyed gardening and loved sharing it with his neighbors and he loved to walk.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by

1 brother J.R. “Wick” Brown and his wife Fronie Mae Bentley Brown

1 granddaughter Laura Brown

He is survived by

His wife of 53 years Ann Rose Hogge Brown

1 son Greg Brown and his wife Dana of Morehead, Kentucky

2 daughters Rhonda “Gidget” Miller and her husband Marty of Flatwoods, Kentucky

Billie Jean Page and her husband J.D. of Ashland, Kentucky

1 brother Edward Brown of South Shore, Kentucky

2 sisters Eileen Brown of South Shore, Kentucky

Patty Riffe of Lynn, Kentucky

5 grandchildren Brad and his wife Kiana, Drew, Holly, Patrick, Jacob

Many nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at noon on Saturday September 19, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Jim Montgomery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Liberty United Methodist Church in Lynn, Kentucky.
