1944 - 2015

Harry Kenneth Hunt, 71, of Raceland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Wurtland nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, Kentucky.

Harry was born January 23, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of Ota Bentley Hunt of South Shore, Kentucky the late Kenneth Carl Hunt.

He was a retired Union Steward with 38 years of service from the North American Refractories Co in South Shore, Kentucky.

He was a United States Vietnam Conflict Army Veteran and was a member of the Harrison-Fullerton Masonic Lodge #937, South Shore.

Harry liked to hunt and fish and every year he looked forward to their Canada fishing trip.

He enjoyed racing especial dirt track racing. He was an avid Raceland Rams Fan. Harry lived for his family and grandchildren, he loved them dearly. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Gloria Bolton Hunt

1 son, Craig (Paula) Hunt of Raceland, KY

1 daughter, Melanie (Jason) Tolliver of Lewisburg, PA

1 brother, Paul (Connie) Hunt of South Shore, KY

2 sisters, Lois Ann (Phillip) Coyle of Richmond, KY

Laura Lee (David) Kiser of Hamlin, WV

3 grandchildren, Hayden Hunt, Josie Tolliver, Justin Tolliver

Funeral service will be conducted at Noon, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Clyde Bolling and Grover Hatfield. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Greenup, KY. Military rites will be performed by James Dickey American Legion Post 23, Portsmouth, Ohio.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one hour before the service on Thursday. At the funeral home.
