Doris Jane Adams Kellough, 85, of Cannonsburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born June 28, 1931, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Harry and Trinnie Hayes Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Adams and Virgil Adams; and two sisters, Lexie Carnes and Maxie Riley. Doris was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and a Kentucky colonel. She retired from Kentucky West Virginia Gas Company after many years of service. Survivors include her loving husband, Charles "Sam" Kellough Jr. of Cannonsburg; two stepsons, Charles Kellough III of Ashland, and Michael Gregory Kellough of San Francisco, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Sharon Kellough Adkins of Ashland; a niece, Linda Adams Smith of Summit; a nephew, Clarence Riley of Ashland; and a host of loving extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with Pastor Michael Wilder officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
