Carly Ruth Dillow, 21, of Westwood, passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Markey Cancer Center, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 21, 1995, in Ashland, a daughter of Jesse James Dillow and Denise Ruth McDonie Dillow of Westwood.
She was Valedictorian of the 2013 graduating class at Fairview High School. She attended Berea College and worked part time at Dunnigan, Collins and Vincent PSC. Carly enjoyed crafts, fashion, decorating, social media and spending time with her family and friends.
Although Carly was accepting of her illness, she persevered with strength, courage and a positive attitude. She was an inspiration to all that knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Christina Meadows and husband Doug of Highland Heights; a brother, Jesse Lee Dillow of Westwood; grandparents, Carl Dillow I of Ironton, Ohio, Ann Ramey of Greenup and Becky McDonie of Huntington, W.Va.
A celebration of Carly's life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Rice officiating.
