A graveside service for Jean Carolyn Moore Eddy, 86, of Silsbee will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 am until 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Eddy passed away October 8, 2017 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care.
Jean was born in Bon Wier on January 5, 1931 to Issac Luther and Minnie Bertha Smith Moore. She was a longtime resident of Silsbee and a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Thomas Pearl Eddy Sr, son Donald Eddy and several siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memories are son Thomas Eddy and wife Karla or Kansas City MO; daughters Verna Gilbert and husband Michael of Humble and Sharon Gilstrap and husband Dan of Silsbee; and grandchildren DeWayne, LeaGina, Denny, Chad, Selena, Stephanie, Scott, Shawn, Susan and Cindy. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren and twelve great, great grandchildren.
Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
