Don Earl Harris Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2017 Funeral services for Don Earl Harris, 73, of Buna will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Morse Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Don was born March 20, 1944 in Buna, to Lucky and Hallie Stevens Harris and was a long-time resident of this area. He was a Superintendent for Comex Construction Corporation for 35 years, and only called in sick 12 days. Don was hard working and loving man that will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Harris proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Don Earl Harris II. Survivors include son Chad Banning Harris and wife Kim Natalie Harris of Buna; brothers J.B. Harris of Kirbyville and Doug Harris of Evadale; sisters Louise Jones of Nederland, Katie Stimits of Evadale, Billie Jo Jones of Evadale, Pauline Harris of Buna, Shirley Mae Cappen of Fred, and Iva Harris of China; and grandchildren Jessie Lee Harris and Austin MacClary.
