Funeral services for Dudley L. Denmon, 76, of Fred will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Denmon passed away November 1, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Dudley was born June 22, 1941 in Evadale. He was a long-time resident of Silsbee and has lived in Fred for 50 years. Mr. Denmon worked many years at Temple Inland papermill as a Recovery Operator before retiring.
He is preceded in death by his mother Oma Lee Kirkendall Songe.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife Carolyn Moore Denmon of Fred; sons Mandel Denmon of Darcy, IL, Tracy Denmon of Lumberton, Marcus Denmon of Buna; daughter Denie of Arkansas; brothers Samuel Denmon of Caneyhead and Carry Denmon of Warren; sisters Mary Ellen Swinney of Caneyhead, Laverne Elliott of Jasper, and Joyce Clark of Vidor.
Also surviving him are twelve grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dudley will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
