Mark Allen Johnson, 58, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Friday October 1, 2021 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 2, 1963 to the late Charles H. and Norma Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Lee Johnson. Mark was owner and operator of Mark Johnson’s Water and Towing Services for 40 years. He was a retired school bus driver or 22 years for Symmes Valley; was a Lawrence County Fair Board member for 25 years; and was Chief of Windsor Township Fire Department. He is survived by his significant other Imogene Holley of 26 years; daughter Haley Ross; stepsons Nick and Joel Catalogna and John Ross; stepdaughter Stephanie Lewis; great granddaughters Kinley Ross, Alexis Giles, Harper Julian, and Riley and Charlie Ross; sister Kimberly Donahoe; nieces Michelle Ferris, Tina Lewis, Amanda Johnson, and Brittany Donahoe; nephew Randall Donahoe; great nieces Ashlee Martin, Erika Hayley Lewis, Kendra Damon, and Kinsey Kazee; great nephews Michael Ferris, Ryan Lewis, Daylan Johnson, and Dylan Johnson; and great great-nieces and nephews Maddie, Kylee, Makenna, Bentley, and Kaiden. Mark will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday October 4, 2021 at the funeral home.
