Stephen “Stevie” Dwayne Hinkle, 58, of Culloden passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was a beloved husband, son, dad, pappy and friend. Steve was born on March 22, 1966 and was raised in Culloden. He was a 1984 graduate of Milton High School. He was a lifelong train wrecker for Donahue Brothers Inc. Throughout his career he was known for his unmatched work ethic and dedication. More than anything, Steve was a devoted husband, son, father, and pappy. He loved spending time with his family, as well as the extended family he found volunteering as the Vice President of the West Virginia Pumpkin Festival. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Dean Hinkle and father-in-law, Larry Crawford. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; mother, Natellia; brothers, Troy and Freddie Jr. (Debbie); son, Dwayne and Jessica; daughter, Katellia and Kyle Cook; eight beautiful grandchildren; and countless friends. His memory will live forever with all who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Troy Nicely officiating.
