I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of these two sweet people. I was not well acquainted with them but I remember a few years back when I was a server at Shoney's how they were two of my regular customers. I always loved when they came in. Lula had such a sweet smile and personality that it always warmed my heart to see her. Lawrence was a kind man who was also a very talented artist. I remember he would bring in some of his beautiful sketches and show me and Lula always smiled so proudly. I will always remember them because they represented how a mother and son should love, respect, and take care of each other. I'm sure their still taking care of each other in Heaven now.

Lula & Lawrence watched over the land of our ancestors and cared for the memories that have been handed down thru the family since near 1880. We thank them for sharing with us the history of our family and for helping us to learn from where our SWINT & TRAUGOTT family came. May they no longer be lonely as they rest in the cemetery on this land with their parents & grandparents, and the surround of their family that has gone before them. We will miss them.
