1927 - 2005

Hassel “Jack” Wallace, age 78, of Eaton Park, Florida, died of complications following a stroke December 22, 2005 at Lakeland General Medical Center.

He was born July 4th, 1927, in Hitchins, KY, a son of the late Hiram and Pina Vipperman Wallace.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Whitt and Nada Hall and one brother, Arthur Wallace.

He came to Eaton Park from Englewood, Florida in 1997. He retired from General Motors, was a World War II Veteran, a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. and a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church.

John (Juanita) Davis of Lakeland, FL

and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 14th, 2006 at 4:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home, with George Smith, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:00pm, Saturday until service time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
