Paralee Cotton Collier, age 84, of Grayson, KY, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, February 27th, 2006, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.

She was born November 10th, 1921 at Lawrence County, KY, a daughter of the late John and Stella Murphy Cotton.

She was a homemaker and a member of the East Side Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Albert Collier Jr.; 2 brothers, Ernest Cotton and John Ed Barker; 2 sisters, Lavada Perry and Fanny Cotton and her son-in-law, Glen Burton.

Her survivors include:

1 daughter:

Lettie Burton of Grayson, KY

2 sons:

Chuck and Marsha Burton of Kevil, KY

Michael and Kim Burton formerly of Grayson

1 sister:

Ida Belle Tussey of Denton, KY

1 grandson:

William & Carrie Burton II of Grayson, KY

3 great-granddaughters:

Sunny Burgess

Baylee Burton

Katherine Burton

And several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 2nd, 2006, at 2:00pm at the Eastside Church of Christ with Bill Bush, minister. Burial will be in the Bowling Cemetery at Hitchins, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-9pm at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
