Dearest Carper family, I just recently read the article about Titus in The Daily Independent. I am so, so sorry for your loss.. Tears come to my eye's as I write this. I can only imagine the pain and confusion of such a tragic occurance as the loss of your dear son.. My wife and I are expecting a son to be born to us around April 1st. It is my greatest hope that he will be healthy. Again I send you my sincere condolences. I really do not have words to express my sorrow for you. I just live here in Grayson, and I wanted you to know I care... Ike Calhoun II

Tina and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. You and your family have been an inspiration to all. Titus probably touched more lives in his short time here than most will touch in their entire life. Please let me know if you need anything, including a day off. If you get back to work and decide you just wasn't ready yet, or can't take anymore questions about Titus call me. I know I can't fill your shoes, especially with Dr. Kleykamp, but I will come try if at all possible.

Tim, Tina, Tori, Tucker, and grandparents, My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I have seldom experienced such a display of faith and strength in the Lord as you have shown these last months. Thanks, Tim, for sharing those almost daily e-mails. At a time when you could have and most of us would have been unable to even function, you brought us messages of such hope and love. You ministered to us all during your hour of need. You mentioned in many of your e-mails that Tina is your hero. She is definitely one of mine, as well. Tina, you have remained strong and courageous throughout this time. Your faith and love were so evident to me at the church the day of the funeral. As we talked, you said, "I just did what a mother is supposed to do." In heaven, I am sure time is not measured as we measure it on earth. Eternity will be so long that a whole lifetime to us will probably seem like a moment in heaven. Titus will probably just turn around and see you all coming in behind him! In the meantime, Titus is in a place where he "will run and not be weary". Thanks, again, for having the courage to share your story with us. Titus has touched more lives than any of us will ever know, and you have made that possible through your humility and willingness to share. God bless you in the days ahead.

Tim and his wonderful family, I am truly sorry for your loss. But just think of it this way, God gained a special angel in his kingdom. That will be watching for you guys and waiting until you show up to become a family again. Titus is no longer having to worry about his heart, as he will now be with the Lord and in the best health ever. Just remember to keep your faith in God, as I know you guys do and remember God is bigger. I will do anything for you Tim, if you ever need off work Sundays or anytime just let me know. I am here for you guys and will continue to pray for you guys. You all have been a blessing, as I got to know you through work. I am proud to say I am Tim Carper's coworker, and how great the man truly is in his faith and his work. God bless you all!

Tim, Tina,Tori and Tucker and extended family, Knowing that your precious little Titus is with our Lord is comforting. Your loss is ours too however Titus is the Lord's gain. Such a precious life is home with Him now and resting comfortably. The Lord will always be with you and know your needs. Look upward to catch a glimpse of the heavens rejoicing as they have welcomed Titus home for eternity and know that you will see him again soon as the Lord has promised as we stay faithful to Him and share His love with others who we meet. It was so easy to get attached to your little guy, thank you for sharing your daily thoughts with us and showing us how trusting we need to be toward the Lord. He has been with you through all of this and will continue walking with you. Give Him all the praise for such a precious little life you could love and cherish for the time you had with him. Continuing to pray for all of you.

Isn't our Lord so good?!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers. What a blessing Titus' life was to all those who knew your family. Just think in the few months what an impact he had on us all without even reaching two months old. Faith and love sustains us through all this life's trials and some day we will be reunited and the hurts and fears will be gone - no sickness, no death, no tears -- what a day! Thank you for sharing your faith and love. Renata Sexton (K.W. & Lacee's mom)
