Ruth Belle Roberts Morris, age 88, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 20th, 2006, at Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, KY.
Ruth was born May 18th, 1917 at Best, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Suzie Laftus Roberts and William Roberts.
She was retired from the Rogers School System as a head cook at West Side Elementary. In early years, she was plant supervisor for Proctor Potato Chip and Distributor Plant. She was of the Nazarene faith.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Carl Morris; grandson, Terry Shaffer; three sisters, Audie, Sallie and Lillie and two brothers, Henry and Earl.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law:
Carolyn Sue and Robert Shaffer of Grayson, KY
Granddaughter:
Robin and Dale Rodgers of Grayson, KY
Grandsons:
Michael and Darlene Shaffer of Grayson, KY
Gregory and Donita Shaffer of Grayson, KY
and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, March 25th, 2006 at 11:00am at the Rogers Memorial Cemetery in Rogers, Arkansas, where burial will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, March 22nd, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, KY.
