Mildred Lucille Damron Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2006 Mildred Lucille Damron, age 77, of Grayson, KY, passed away Monday, April 24th, 2006 at her residence. She was born October 14th, 1928, at Grayson, a daughter of the late Leonard and Britta Easterling Felty. Mrs. Damron was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ and the Carter County Homemakers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Damron in 1986; one daughter, Patricia Claywell Scott; one son, Michael Damron; one son-in-law, Jack Claywell; five brothers, Billy Felty, Clarence “Butch” Felty, Ardith “Ardie” Felty, Elwood “Black” Felty and Eugene “Sug” Felty and one sister-in-law, Edith Conley Felty. She is survived by: 2 daughters and 3 sons-in-law: Frances “Cookie” and John Parsons Diana and Bob Newman all of Grayson Joe Scott Morehead KY 1 sister: Loretta Felty of Grayson 1 brother: Lawrence Felty of Grayson 5 sisters-in law and 1 brother-in-law: Virginia Fankell Bonnie Felty Reavel and James Hale all of Grayson Ruth Ann “Dottie” Bagley of Columbus, OH Gail Damron of Grayson 10 grandchildren: Kim (and Barry) Dotson of Grayson Amy (and Rob) Binion of Grayson Jason Parsons of Grayson Rebecca Williams of Lexington, KY Brandon Williams of Grayson Laura (and Chad) Parsons of Grayson Kelli Scott of Grayson Corey (and Chastity) Claywell of Louisville, KY Matt Newman of Grayson Tim Newman of Grayson 11 great-grandchildren: Cole, Drew and Megan Dotson, Carley McKenzie, Emily Pennington, Brent and Ashley Parsons, Molly Williams, Kodi, Cierra and Payton Claywell Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 27th, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Dr. Dick Damron, officiating. Burial will be in the Damron Family Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening, April 26th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home. In leiu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to: Community Hospice 1538 Central Ave. Ashland KY 41101 or the Oak Grove Church of Christ Building Fund 1525 Damron Branch Grayson KY 41143.
