Mildred Lucille Damron, age 77, of Grayson, KY, passed away Monday, April 24th, 2006 at her residence.

She was born October 14th, 1928, at Grayson, a daughter of the late Leonard and Britta Easterling Felty.

Mrs. Damron was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ and the Carter County Homemakers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Damron in 1986; one daughter, Patricia Claywell Scott; one son, Michael Damron; one son-in-law, Jack Claywell; five brothers, Billy Felty, Clarence “Butch” Felty, Ardith “Ardie” Felty, Elwood “Black” Felty and Eugene “Sug” Felty and one sister-in-law, Edith Conley Felty.

She is survived by:

2 daughters and 3 sons-in-law:

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 27th, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Dr. Dick Damron, officiating. Burial will be in the Damron Family Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening, April 26th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home. In leiu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to: Community Hospice 1538 Central Ave. Ashland KY 41101 or the Oak Grove Church of Christ Building Fund 1525 Damron Branch Grayson KY 41143.

Cookie and Dianna so sorry to hear of your loss.Earths loss is Heavens gain.God call home another angel.She was a very sweet person and i know you all will miss her dearly .Just stay true to the Lord and he will help you all through this trial that you are going through.Love you both and will be thinking of you and praying for you to have the strength to go on ...Donna
